sore feet
No matter what I've done for my feet (good shoes, inserts, soaking and massaging every day) they freaking kill me with pain (sometimes it feels like little electric shocks in them.) I'm up to something like 2000 mg of ibuprofen a day to help deal with it because otherwise I'm hobbling around and I need things to help pull myself up to a standing position.

I had the night off last night but right now I have the regular shooting pains in the back of my heels. I started putting lotion on them to massage them as usual before going to sleep and I noticed little knots along the heel. I googled to see if there is anything to help get rid of them but the best I could find was 'massage' and it might be related to plantar fasciitis. Great.

Plantar fasciitis?

A friend has had (or still has this problem) - she tried many things and nothing *really* worked. Till her doctor suggested her stretching exercises for feet and calves. She says that, although her problem does come back from time to time, it's nothing compared with what it used to be - she even got back to running!

So, you could look for some stretching exercises for feet and calves on-line. Or better yet - consult some orthopaedist. Maybe after some tests they could give you some more accurate diagnosis and then treat it accordingly.

Hope you feel better soon.

If you have shoe inserts made out of felt or any other material that can be cut (cheap ones from the drugstore or something), try cutting a hole in the heel where the sore spot is. That way you don't stand or walk on it directly. My dad did that and it helped him.
