Fans:The New Hollywood Moguls

I know that a lot of the people that follow my journals are part of one fandom or another. Most of you know that I'm part of the Farscape, SG-1, and SGA fandoms, and those that have read my journal(s) over the years know how I became part of fandom. Everyone I know online has a story of their own to tell, and a project that I've been helping with since December is essentially 'collecting' those fandom stories.

One reason is because it shows Hollywood (because they are keeping an eye on us) we are all connected, and that leads to the second reason: we are a single voice no matter our fandom.

All of this is leading up to a series of documentary webisodes that are going spotlight various fandoms, the first of which is Farscape and Scapers.

If you're on Dreamwidth, you can subscribe to [personal profile] fanmoguls and keep updated via our newsletters. If you're don't have a DW account, you can still subscribe to receive updates in your email here.

We'd love to hear your fandom story, it doesn't matter which one: Farscape, Stargate, Supernatural, Twilight, Dr. Who, Hawaii 5-0, Hunger Games… we want to hear how you became a part of fandom and how it's affected you. Simply email it to us here.
