It's Miller Time but I'm drinking coffee instead.

I survived my first week and jesus freaking christ I am sore. Mostly my arms. Lifting a 220 lb man makes muscles bitch just a bit. Client and his family are cool, so I'm lucky with that, and we're all growing used to each other as we go over the bumps of working out the best schedule to work with each other. The client likes that I start the day with 'good morning, sunshine!', his cold drink and telling him what all I'm going to do as we start the day. I also remind him step by step along the way for several reasons (for both of our comfort in knowing what's coming next, in case something starts to hurt and we have to adjust what we're doing and just to have something to 'look forward to'). And apparently the man loves my scrambled eggs and french toast. LOL

I'm going to have to invest in my own blood pressure kit because the agency only supplies one temporarily until I buy my own. I hate this kit I'm using because its rigged up with the stethoscope attached and the tube is only about a foot and a half. Then there is the fact I'm still not that good at using it (which I will get better as I go along, I know) but I'd still like to use one of the digital ones I saw the day I trained because the client wants out of that bed by the time I get there and it takes me a bit to get an accurate reading because he moves his arm and I can't hear when he does that.

I also think I'm going to have to cut my hair to get it out of the way. It's past my shoulders and I have to put it up in a ponytail which leads to headaches for me. Just clipping it up out of my way is useless since my hair is so thick the weight causes it to either just slip out or I break the clips.

Now time to get another cup of coffee and work on the story I'm beta'ing that I've had to sadly neglect with my studying and being tired after work.
