3. Writer/Director of Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile and he's a total fanboy.
4. It's taking pretty much directly from the comics its based upon and the creator, Robert Kirkman, is extremely happy.
5. The cast and crew look like they're having a blast.
Watch this making of (which does have minor spoilers) and see for yourself. The first episode is up at AMC's website if you want to check it out. I really enjoyed the first episode. It hit some emotional points with the characters that I actually hadn't been expecting.
