DayBreakers
Daybreakers isn't too bad for a Vampire flick. I had no choice but to watch when I heard that Sam Neill and Willem Dafoe were in it.

I liked it well enough but the writers/directors didn't quite get it right in their execution of the story. I think they were going for too much shock value in parts when it should have been a cool character piece.

Oh, and Dafoe's character has some sweet cars. :D

Really? I didn't think there was much shock value in the movie at all.

Still, I think it was great for showing a whole different angle on the recent slew of vampire tv series & movies :)

Really. I'm referring to the way they did explosions of blood.

It did do well to break away from new wave of vamp flicks and shows. I wasn't complaining, just saying they could have done better.
