Ben's Sci-Fi Live Interview

If you missed his interview last night, you can still listen to it on Sci-Fi Talk Live's website, download it on the page, or on iTunes (episode 50). They discuss Freeze Frame, Going Homer, as well as Farscape and SG-1. Touching off the beginning of the interview talking about the first time they met in New York two days before 9/11. The questions asked and the interviewer's (Tony Tellado ) comments are great, and we're treated to all sides of Ben's personality that we've all come to enjoy.

I think my heart did a little pitter pat of happiness when Ben says he told Fran he couldn't see the end of their relationship.

What do you think of the interview?

Vid Rec: We Didn't Start the Fire

I'd found this tonight by pure luck while searching for Teal'c music videos and I had to share. Now I just may be a soft sale given my absolute love of this song but I thought this video was pretty damn awesome (I've already watched it three times and I would freaking love to have a good quality copy of my own if anyone's heard of this before and can point me the way). The way KawaOle matched up the lyrics to Billy Joel's, We Didn't Start the Fire, is so much fun and there are some freaking clever matches. Team video, spoilers for the first eight years.

eta: Thanks to scrollgirl showing the way, you can download it at The Alpha Site, listed under Eight Years On.

eta2: I'm still loving this after multiple viewings. I mention in the comments some of my favorite parts, but I particularly love the last shot we ever see of Narim, with the explosions in the background, at 3:10 because it reminds me of the original Billy Joel video. But the section I love the most? 3:38 - 3:41 (Rock'n Roll, The Color War...I can't take it anymore!) I have serious love for that kind of swing in the camera which is done with Teal'c, and then at the end of the squence with Daniel shouting/angry in Lifeboat is just perfect for the climax in the music. Also the explosions and shots of the team firing their guns... so freaking GUH! ♥

I also highly recommend her videos So Am I (Daniel in Legacy set to Gnarls Barkley's Crazy) and Into that Goodnight (Teal'c in The Changeling set to Queensryche's Silent Lucidity).
