More Ben Browder Interviews

Browder Eager For Web Farscape
Farscape star Ben Browder told SCI FI Wire that he looks forward to reprising the role of astronaut John Crichton in a much-talked-about proposed Web revival of his critically acclaimed SF series, which originally aired on SCI FI Channel.

Ark Makes Stargate Bigger
Ben Browder, who reprises the role of Lt. Col. Cameron Mitchell in the upcoming DVD film Stargate: The Ark of Truth, told SCI FI Wire that the movie was shot on 35mm film and will therefore look sharper than SCI FI Channel's original series Stargate SG-1, on which it is based.

Continuum More Casual
Former Stargate SG-1 star Ben Browder told SCI FI Wire that Stargate: Continuum, the second of two straight-to-DVD spinoff movies, will be accessible to the casual fan. That differs from the first film, Stargate: The Ark of Truth, which wraps up the Ori storyline of SG-1 and ties up the series' various bits of mythology.

Browder Scales Black Mountain
Ben Browder told SCI FI Wire that he has co-written Black Mountain, a horror movie featuring a monster in the woods. Browder (SCI FI Channel's Stargate SG-1) co-wrote the film with his onetime Farscape producer Andrew Prowse.

Please, oh please, oh please, oh please let MGM make Black Mountain soon and put Ben in it!

Please Pass On The Word To Help

Via Pitdog on Terra Firma:

Perhaps if enough people hear about this and pass the word on the net, maybe some pups will be adopted or the Humane will get some donations.

Dogs rescued from 'puppy mill' available for adoption (with video)

About 40 small dogs seized from an Avra Valley home are available for adoption, a Humane Society spokeswoman said Thursday morning.

In all 752 dogs, mostly chihuahuas, were taken from what officials called a “puppy mill” in the 12200 block of West Manville Road.

The ones available for adoption today were seized on Monday, said Jenny Rose, a spokeswoman for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. About 400 to 500 of the dogs are being housed at the Humane Society’s Companions for Life Center at 3465 E. Kleindale Road, because it’s shelter on North Kelvin Boulevard is full.

Caring for a dog usually costs the Humane Society about $200 until it gets adopted, Rose said. But she estimated the cost of the chihuahuas to be much higher because of the medical attention each dog required and the overtime costs for employees looking after the animals.

If you'd like to contribute a little something to the Southern Arizona Humane Society to help them cope with this crisis, here's their web site:

Victory is mine!

I was actually able to make a dinner of pork chops (baked), scalloped potatoes (my first time making it) and green beans without totally fubar'ing it by burning anything. Though I will admit that one pan of meat came out slightly scorched.

And no one has complained of stomach cramps yet.

I call this a success! *parties*

Now back to watching Mitchell getting his booty whooped in Babylon.
