I'm sitting here in a haze watching the original movie for M*A*S*H for the first time. Damn why didn't I watch this years ago? Though after years of seeing Alan Alda as Hawkeye, it's kinda weird. The reason for the haze is because I only got about an hour or two of sleep last night. Every time I started to doze off I'd start coughing or have to get up to use the bathroom. Sheesh.
I totally forgot about watching BSG and Dresden Files last night.
While I don't normally follow the careers of race horses, I am an animal lover and have been following Barbaro's story thanks to simplystars's updates.
I hate that they had to euthanize him after such a rocky roller coaster ride to save his life as well as attempting to make him more comfortable. If there is a heaven for animals, I imagine he's now running full tilt across its fields.
When you're ripping clips, how do you keep track of them for a particular song?
Do you save the file as the line of song that it's intended for?
Or do you just categorize them by their episode and subsequent number of the clip. For example I've been ripping clips from Farscape's What Was Lost part 2, so I've been saving them as 'WWL2x1, WWL2x2, etc.'
Something I used to do was just keep all my clips together, but after running out of hard drive space too many times and re-editing some of my older stuff I finally started keeping all the video source in their own particular folder named after whatever song I'm working on. Which makes things a lot easier to keep track of when I save the project onto disc...at least for me.
