whining about writing
I've had no delusions about my inability to write anything to do with the military but when it comes to something like the IOA controlling things... talk about a brain bleed. I've been trying to write an 'official' memo announcing a memorial service and I just can't seem to get the wording right. It feels too fake. If that makes any sense at all considering who is supposedly the source of the memo.

Does anyone have any pointers on this or can at least point me to a source that I can use as a template? Because this is driving me nuts this morning. And I've tried to just skip it for now but my brain is wanting to write this more linearly this time around.

I can produce turgid bureaucratic prose like nobody's business. If you want to send me what you've got, along with any notes on where's it's supposed to go, I'd be happy to take a crack at it!
