Since I don't have access to fic, vids, artwork or fandom news until I'm able to get internet installed, at least more than an 30 minutes at a time, I figured I'd post a sticky post for folks to drop by and leave what they think is awesome or that they think I might enjoy.

I don't think like other people and I tend to forget that folks can't read my mind - so a little note about me:

When and if I post about the latest thing in my life or WankFest (whatever the wank may be), I tend to usually turn off comments. For a couple reasons: 1. I'm only stating my feelings and opinion and I don't want to discuss them really. I use my journal as a journal and so that means recording dren going on around me. 2. I have no dang clue what to say in response and that's really a disservice to anyone that puts a lot of effort into their comments to my posts.

Unless I link to or mention someone specific, I'm not talking about you or your ideology. I'm just talking about generalities in my life. No offense is intended with my ramblings.

Ben was at Fedcon this week and apparently after seeing John Barrowman dancing naked in the middle of the night (Ben had looked out his window to see Barrowman dancing in his room apparently), he decided to kiss the man! LOL

I found out yesterday that HD received the DNA results on his baby boy. He isn't HDs son. We're all devastated at this and I know that HD is most of all. He was so proud of having a son that could help carry on my dad's name. I considered that child like my own grandson since I helped raise HD and I was looking forward to seeing him this summer and getting to know him because he was my boy's.

You don't even want to know what I'd like to do to HD's ex for putting my babyboy through all of this pain.

I still hope the child will have a great life filled with love, I just wish he would have been part of our family.

I've been doing my best to stay up to date. A friend gave me a iphone so I can keep in touch on the net even without actually having internet. So i'm posting this from my phone with its itty bitty keyboard. I need to find a wifi hotspot to upload my Reverse Big Bang images before Monday. They're too big for the phone and work's "filter" blocks photobucket as a porn site.

So I'm here, just quiet due to tiny-keyboarditis.

Your mission, should you chose to accept it, is to go forth into the fandom(s) of your choice and post no less than 10 positive comments. Positive feedback is just about the only currency that is acceptable legally in fandom. There are other ways to show your appreciation: recs, private emails, kudos (if you're on AO3) but January 30th should be about using your words. Nothing is really more powerful to a writer than knowing that they've really touched another person with their work.
